First thing first. Mad Max - Fury Road or any of the others, including Beyond the Thunderdome are action films far better than this latest installment of the Batman. In my book, BvS gets 4 out of 10 stars. No more.
That being said, let me tell why I think that in only 5 words The plot has no logic.

To see this film, you have to be in a forgiveness mode. Really, you have to forgive many things.
Can we start with the beginning ?... Wayne's parents walking in slow motion... that will not help anything in this movie- why ?.. .because we already know who Batman is, and which was the traumatic event that is the root of his psychology. This only serves the director to initiate a series of small references to his own work. Pure Narcissism !
Then, we would have to forgive the first of a series of hallucinations suffered by characters - or a bas dream or whatever. Bruce Wayne levitates ! - or is raised by a multitude of bats. WTF! .. .is a nightmare... must be a nightmare for the character...or for us.
Then to introducing Superman, we go to some country in the Middle East - only God knows which. There, we learn that there are still photographers/journalists who still use roll cameras. I swear! .. .the journalist - that is Jimmy Olsen - turns out to be a CIA AGENT ! .. .what?.. .the absurd, funny and awkward Jimmy is now a CIA agent !!! and he thinks that hiding a locator in an analog camera will not arouse suspicions ?... maybe this Olsen was awkward after all.
But how Supes got there actually?.. .Why he crossed half of the planet from the US , and how he learned that Lois Lane was in danger ?... or perhaps he was close if his woman needed him ? Lots of unanswered questions.
But lets go to discuss something more interesting... The Batman.
As a fan of the character for several years (about 40) I have a couple of things to say... I can forgive that the assigned "actor" is Ben Affleck, I can forgive that the character is now a sadist - after all if you face criminals for 20 years, it is inevitable that some of all that evil Will stick on you... even in a real world. Perhaps that should be the personality of the character. An individual hardened, cursed, condemned to exercise a greater violence in criminals than that caused by them.

Maybe that was Frank Miller thinking when he wrote The Dark Knight Returns. An aged and aggressive old man, who returns to the mask to save his city.
That is why for this film, I can forgive the fact that this sadistic person is not longer the Greatest Detective in the world, unable to track Superman after two years even when Lois Lane could do it in 30 minutes in the first film.
But Hey! .... I can forgive all that... Batman killing people with his bare hands, with bullets, grenades... I can forgive him for breaking his ONLY rule and being able to kill the alien with a spear, by stabbing it in his heart... I can forgive that Luthor is now a true sociopath - ala Joker with that Little voice included - and that the origin of his evil is not the hunger for power, but that his father abused him (so he says at some point).
What I CAN NOT FORGIVE
a).- Continuous references to Snyder's 300, Watchmen and Sucker Punch.
b).- Wonder Woman character wasted in Gal Gadot, she does not have any transcendence... not as Wonder Woman or as Diana Prince.
c).- Superman is on the brink of death - just by being near to the Kryptonite Spear and suddenly is able to fly miles carrying it to a combat with Doomsday.
d).- Batman put trackers on a vehicle to then pursue the vehicle shoting his wapons at it. Ehat he used the tracker in the first place ?
e).- Nobody explains why is Luthor jailed at the end... Why he is being accused ?.. who accuses him?.. .a alien deemed a few days earlier, or the vigilante of the neighbouring city.
f)-I can forgive the hallucination of Superman with his father who tells him a story that has to do with... with that has to do?.. .is a story he told Supes in his past?... .is a story that Clark Kent magines ?....and why is he walking instead of flying...and why he does not have glasses ?....somebody may notice his resemblance to certain alien ....
I can even forgive that the fictional city of Metropolis is just next to Gotham City - because that has been used in certain media since the 90´s. But even these fictional cities belong to a real country... United States of America... whose behavior in this film is worthy of a fable by Aesop.
Not only they have not take over the Kryptonite in the ship that went down in India, they also have not dismantled the alien spacecraft that are in the middle of Metropolis after two years !!! - not to mention that tere is not a single any guard to prevent someone to steal an intergalactic souvenir.
No... that's not the behavior of a country that wants to build a wall on its southern border to prevent that Pancho and Pepe go and try to achieve the "American Dream". But I forgive it.
What if it is a real insult to my limited intelligence, is that big BvS conflict is solved when Supes just says MARTHA... WTF!

A wild guy stops killing that man that he consider his enemy in the past two years, just because the lying man says "Martha"... absurd... stupid... illogical.
And at that moment Batsy changes... to the extent that in the end he delivers that very human phrase "there are good men"... giving a 180 degree turn to the personality he showed for the entire film.
..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF! ..... WTF!
Fuck... to think that Affleck was not so bad as I would have thought - let me be clear, the character doesn't demand much of the "actor".
Even more so, I do not rate lower this big dark mess, because the actual Batman/Superman was actually good, and the same goes when Batman fights the criminals... except in this nightmare/premonition when he fall asleep on his super hacker-computer.
Remember that dream...is there where Snyder launches the Sucker Punch, with flying beigns, nazi type soldiers with bands on their arms and a "bad" Superman...I am quite sure that is to incite, to arouse the fan boys to be anxious and excited waiting for the next film...

Para lo único que sirve es para que el director inicie una serie de pequeñas referencias a su propia obra. Narcisismo pues !
Luego, tendríamos que perdonar la primera de una serie de alucinaciones que sufren los personajes - como sueño o como sea. Bruce Wayne levita - o es levantado por una multitud de murciélagos. WTF !!!....es una pesadilla....debe ser una pesadilla del personaje....
Entonces y para introducir a Superman, nos vamos a algún país de Medio Oriente - o solo Dios sepa. Ahí nos enteramos que todavía hay fotógrafos/periodistas que usan cámaras de rollo. Si se los juro !!!....el periodista que es Jimmy Olsen resulta ser UN AGENTE DE LA CIA !!!!....que ?...el absurdo, simpático y torpe Jimmy es ahora un agente de la CIA que se le ocurre ocultar un localizador en una cámara analógica para despertar sospechas....tal vez si era torpe este Olsen después de todo.
Pero, como llego ahí el Supes ??.....como cruzó la mitad del planeta desde USA hasta alla, y como supo que Lois Lane estaba en peligro... o estaba tal vez cerca en caso de que su mujer lo necesitara ?....como se escapo del trabajo....como....?
Pero regresemos con lo que mas me interesa.....Batman.
Como aficionado al personaje desde hace ya algunos años (unos 40) tengo un par de cosas que decir...puedo perdonar que el "actor" asignado sea Ben Affleck, puedo perdonar que el personaje sea ahora un sádico - después de todo si enfrentas maleantes durante 20 años, es inevitable que algo se te quede de toda esa maldad....incluso, en un mundo real, quizá esa debiera de ser la personalidad del personaje. Un individuo endurecido, maldito, condenado a ejercer en los criminales una violencia mayor a la que ocasionan. Un Dirty Harry !!!!...
En eso tal vez estaba pensando Frank Miller cuando escribió The Dark Knight Returns. Un avejentado y agresivo hombre mayor, que vuelve a ponerse la mascara para salvar su ciudad.
Por eso para esta película, tendría yo que perdonar el hecho de que este sádico ya no es el mas Grande Detective del mundo, incapaz después de dos años de rastrear el origen de Superman, como lo hizo Lane en 30 minutos en la primer película.
Pero Hey !!!!....Puedo perdonar todo eso.....que Batman mate gente a golpes, con balas, con granadas...que sea capaz de matar al extraterrestre con una lanza clavándola en el corazón......que Luthor sea ahora un autentico sociópata - a lo Joker con vocecilla incluida- y que el origen de su maldad no sea el ansia de poder, sino que su padre abuso de el (asi lo dice al final).
LO QUE NO PUEDO PERDONAR
a).- Es las continuas referencias de Snyder a Watchmen, a 300 y a Sucker Punch.
b).- Que se desperdicie el personaje de Gal Gadot, que en pantalla no es trascendente ni con el traje de la Wonder Woman o sin el.
c).- Que Superman quede al borde de la muerte por estar junto a la Lanza de Kriptonita y luego sea capaz de volar millas enteras cargámdola para combatir a Doomsday.
d).- Que Batman ponga rastreadores en vehículos para luego perseguir a balazos el vehiculo que lleva el rastreador.
e).- Que nadie explique cual es la razón por la que esta en la cárcel Luthor al final....de que lo acusan ?...quien lo acusa ?....el Extraterrestre al que juzgaban unos días antes, o el vigilante de la ciudad vecina.
f).- Puedo perdonar la alucinación de Superman con su padre que le cuenta una historia que tiene que ver con.....con que tiene que ver ?....es una historia que le conto en su pasado ?....es una historia que Clarck Kent se imagina....
Puedo incluso perdonar que la ficticia ciudad de Metrópolis este justo enfrente de Ciudad Gotica - porque asi se ha acostumbrado poner en ciertos medios desde los 90´s. Pero incluso esas ficticias ciudades pertenecen a un país real....United States of America.....cuyo comportamiento en esta película es digno de una fabula de Esopo.
No solo no se han apoderado de la kryptonita de la nave que cayo en la India, sino que tampoco han desmantelado la nave extraterrestre que tienen en medio de Metrópolis después de dos años, sino que tampoco le ponen guardia alguna para evitar que alguien se lleve un recuerdo intergaláctico.
No.....ese no es el comportamiento de un país que quiere construir una muralla en su frontera sur para evitar que Pancho y Pepe traten de alcanzar el "American Dream". Pero lo perdono.
Lo que si es un verdadero insulto a mi escasa inteligencia, es que el nudo, el conflicto de BvS se resuelva cuando Supes dice MARTHA.....WTF !!!
